Dear CFPBA Members, Recently, the PBA and OCSO jointly presented a new pay plan to Sheriff Beary and his command staff. This new pay plan addresses our many pay compression and deficiency issues. The PBA is happy to report that Sheriff Beary was generous enough to completely buy into the new pay plan. However, this is only the first step because we must get the Orange County leaders to approve the nearly five million extra dollars this pay plan will cost. Various PBA leaders recently met with the County leaders to inform and encourage them to budget this new pay plan.
