Orlando, FL, October 4, 2007: As the political season gets underway, the Central Florida Police Benevolent Association (CFPBA) is looking forward to conducting political screenings of Sheriff Candidates for Orange, Lake and Osceola counties.
"The sworn and civilian support staff of these Sheriff's Offices need a real understanding of how their potential employer will deal with crucial issues inside and outside the confines of their respective agencies. The CFPBA political screenings give an opportunity for the candidates to communicate their vision and plans to the future employees and constituents they seek to serve in their role as Sheriff. Our desire is that employees and constituents in attendance will obtain a greater understanding of the candidates based on each candidate's input.", states CFPBA President John Park.
The CFPBA will be holding political screenings on January 11, 2008 for those who have properly filed as Orange, Lake and Osceola Sheriff candidates. Endorsements will be announced shortly thereafter.
Further information will be available soon.
